At the end of July, Dad and Mom came to visit! Trey loves his grandparents...especially when they play with him and read him books:) When Grandpa comes, he has his special ice cream...and every time we open the freezer, Treyson knows which one is "gampa's ice cream".

Sharing ice cream with 'gampa'.

YAYY...Someone to play trains with:)

For the long weekend, we headed down to Vernon to spend some quality time with friends! And to bask in the summer sun! The first day we headed straight to the kiddie pool to enjoy some vitamin D. The kids loved it...Trey was doing really good until he flipped over in his floaty and couldn't get back up. That's what happens when you turn your head for a second. Thankfully he didn't swallow any water but for the rest of the weekend he was so scared of the water that he would scream and shake if we tried to pull him in. I guess I don't have to worry about him when I head to the beach or when we are camping next week!

The same night we headed to one of Vernon's many beaches to have a bbq! We bought some buckets for the kids, one for each, so there wouldn't be any fighting...right?? I guess we still don't know how their little brains work...:)

I had to prove that we do sometimes take pictures of adults too:)

Sunday afternoon we headed to another beach for another dinner:) It wasn't very busy, so the kiddies had fun running wild...getting really dirty but loving every minute of it! We burnt the garlic bread and the water took forever to boil, but it was nice to enjoy the out doors:) We realized after that there was another beach over the hill that was sandy and not as windy but hey, maybe next time.

On Monday, we finally got to spend a whole day at the lake! It was hot and a great way to end a great weekend. Besides the fact that everyone, except Pauline and I, got sick after the weekend (the throwing up kind of sick)  it was good to see where they now live, even though it is a little farther than we would like:)
