It's time to catch up:) This is a little taste of what has been happening here at the Pelleboer house! I can't believe how fast time is going! Only 7 1/2 weeks until due date...and still have so much to do. Trey has been changing a lot too. It seems every week there is something new that he learns or gets into. It's also time for potty training! It is actually quite a daunting task! But I am determined not to have two kids in diapers. So we will give it a try:)
September...
With all the rainy days we have had, I find that I have been trying new things with Trey to keep him occupied! I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier but play dough is the easiest thing to make and it is enjoyed for hours! Even Darryl played with it:)
He has also been grating on my nerves lately...and with pregnancy hormones flying all over the place, the patience levels haven't been very high! This is a look that is common...
We also went to Alberta for September long weekend, and managed to fit in an updated family picture.
The two grandkiddies...which will double by April:)
Allison and I also purchased passes to the zoo. We have been able to go three times already and it is the perfect place to meet and let the kids run free!! Definitely be taking advantage of that in the future when we both have our new ones!
October...
Darryl teaching Trey young...:)
My brother and sister in-law came out for the weekend, and we managed to visit Willowview farms! Trey loved it...Chloe not so much:)
When the baby arrives, I am going to try put both of them in the same room. Which meant that it was time for Trey to move on over to the big boy bed! He was very excited! After making so many baby blankets and quilts, I also made a quilt for Trey! He played in the bed for hours...and the first night went really well. He had a bottle to bed before, but that was cut off cold turkey when we moved him into his new bed! In the past two weeks, he has only asked for it twice, so it seems to be working:) The only downfall to a bed is at 7 am (or earlier) I hear pitter patter down the hall and see a little face peering at me saying "get up mom!"...:)
This is what happens when he gets his 'colors' and stickers:)
Last weekend, we went to Whistler with my parents! I have been bugging Darryl to go for the last couple years, and am very excited that I was finally able to check it out! It was beautiful! The colors were amazing, and because it was just before the season starts, it was also nice and quiet...
Last night was Halloween...and I was very excited to take Trey! But he would have none of it:) He was much more excited to hand out the candy to the trick or treaters! It was a very serious job and every time there was a knock he would yell 'trick or treaters'!!! It was very cute...and I guess there is nothing wrong with enjoying giving the candy:) Other than that, my parents are leaving back to Alberta today, so it is back to real life or house work and potty training...sigh:)

beautiful pictures of Whistler - love the red trees! Too cute about Trey not wanting to trick or treat (we should have stopped by) :)

Glad you finally updated!! I love Trey's new quilt. He seems so old all of a sudden, and still such a little cutie!
