Darryl is ready in his scrubs. It was definitely a different experience this time, having a scheduled c-section, a little more nerve racking! We had to be at the hospital at 6:30 to get prepped and ready. By 7:45 we were walking into the surgery room. It was kinda neat knowing that in a half an hour we would meet the little person that had been hanging out with us for the last 9 months! Then by 8:17 we heard the first cry of our little man!
Trey came to visit the same afternoon, and was very proud of his new brother. We thought that he would have a hard time leaving us again, but he was having way too much fun at Aunt Mar and Uncle Marty's!
Asher spent his first days hanging out in the nursing pillow and sleeping! It was easier letting him sleep on the bed in that pillow than asking the nurses or Darryl to hand him over:)
We are home! We came home on the Friday after he was born and Trey came home on the Sunday! Trey was all worried that we were still at the hospital, so Aunt Mar had to tell him that we had come home and took the baby home too! After that he was ok:)
Darryl stayed home for two weeks after Asher was born to help out and do some renos! This meant a lot of outside time for Trey, and quiet time for me...
...well, a little quiet time anyway:)
Dad and Mom came to visit! Trey learned a new pose from Aunt Irene. Now all the pictures have this funny face on them!
Out for supper for my birthday! We went to Paliotti's in Abbotford...delicious!
My big purchase! A swing...I got the cradle and swing made by fisher price, and I love it!
And Trey liked the box:)
